I take a wholistic approach to the clients i serve,  assessing and addressing all of the areas in ones life, emotional, spiritual, education, career, relationships,  that may benefit from healing or goal setting.

My specialities include treating clients who struggle with depression and anxiety and more specifically  focuses on stress management and reduction, grief management, postpartum depression, development of healthy communication skills in couples and families, substance abuse and management of life transitions.

 In reflecting on the most fulfilling parts of my job, Im inspired by witnessing clients meet their goals and better their lives. and Their inner strength to over come their struggles inspires me daily. I view my role with my clients as an ally, advocate and partner in healthy change.

• Education: Masters Degree in Social Work with a specialization in Mental Health from Loyola University Chicago

• Year Graduated: 2006

• Special Training: Post Partum Depression, Substance Abuse

• Previous Positions: 6 years as a Recovery Specialist and Program Manager with The Human Service Center in Peoria, Illinois and 6+ years of Private Practice
